Temple Island, Georgina & Mark

Temple Island makes a fantastic wedding venue, it's located in the middle of the River Thames close to Henley On Thames. I have done a few weddings in the past on Temple Island and was looking forward to photographing Georgina & Mark's wedding.

Georgina got ready at Hotel Du Vin in Henley On Thames, the wedding ceremony was at St John The Baptist, Kidmore End, Reading. Georgina's family made the trip from Norway for the wedding.

The weather was rather wet with a rumble of thunder, although the sun did make an appearance a couple of times. By the evening the rain had stopped and mist started to rise from the meadows, which was a very beautiful sight. The river Thames adds an extra dimension to weddings at Temple Island, with it's every changing reflections.
