Joanna & Robin in Devon on the 22nd September 2007.

On my second weekend in Devon I photographed Joanna & Robin's wedding at the beautiful Hotel Endsleigh. Situated above the river Tamar and surrounded by rolling countryside it's hard to think of a nicer location.

After an outdoors ceremony the couple and their guests had an afternoon of sport and entertainment including Archery, table football, table tennis and a Falconer. This all made for some great photographs. The evening was rounded off with a firework display.

The comedians

Take two comedians, add a mix of comedy guests, a 90 year old vicar, some sunshine and put them in Devon. The result is Rhys Thomas & Lucy Montgomery's wedding.

Lucy & Rhys married at St Michaels church in Gittisham and then walked to the nearby reception at Combe House hotel. Guests included Simon Day, Bob Mortimer, Paul Whitehouse, David Baddiel, James Bachman, Barunka O'Shaughnessy & Joe Cornish.

After some very funny speeches the couple danced to the band as the sun went down.

Lucy & Julian in North Wales

Channel 4 TV presenter Lucy married Julian in North Wales on the 8th September at St Martins church.

Earlier in the day I joined the 22 ushers as they had lunch in a hunting lodge on top of a mountain. Then it was off to the church to wait for Lucy to arrive in the Jeep. Most of the village had turned out to watch. After the ceremony the couple had their reception in a beautiful marquee.


Lucy & Julian are keen skiers and had a mountain theme for the tables as can be seen in the table plan. Even the cake resembled a mountain with a bride & groom skiing down the side.

Stephanie & Andrew at Clearwell Castle on 31st August 2007

On the 31st August I travelled across to the border of England and Wales to photograph the wedding of Stephanie & Andrew at Clearwell Castle in the Forest of Dean.

Stephanie started getting ready in the keepers cottage before moving over to the main castle. After the civil ceremony the guests had drinks on the castle lawn before being entertained later by the band.

Karen & Rob at The Country Cottage Hotel, Ruddington.

Karen & Rob married on the 25th August 2007 at the Country Cottage Hotel in Ruddington. After the civil ceremony they had a barbeque buffet followed by speeches and dancing.
