All Hallows Church was the venue for Laura & Charlies wedding. Thankfully the rain cleared up and the sun came out just before the bride left home. The reception took place at Greetham Valley golf club in Rutland.

J.Mays & Carrie's wedding at Cowley Manor on the 24th September
The exterior of Cowley Manor (http://www.cowleymanor.co.uk/) hides away the contemporary interior which is complete contrast to the exterior. The hotel is set in 55 acres which include four impressive lakes and landscaped grounds.
This was the setting for the wedding of J.Mays & Carrie. You have almost certainly seen some of J.Mays creations, he is the car designer who created the new VW Beatle. As Vice president of design for the Ford Motor Company he has also been instrumental in creating the Aston Martin DB9 & the LandRover LR3.

Heather & Michael's Ireland Wedding on the 16th September
Heather contacted me 2 years ago about the possibility of photographing her wedding in Waterford, Ireland. Heather & Michael live in New Jersey, USA, which meant the first time we met was at the wedding.
Heather & Michael spend a lot of time in Ireland and it was the obvious place to hold their wedding. Although finding a venue was a little more tricky as the churches in Ireland are not keen on people travelling from abroad to get married. After much searching they found Parkswood Country House at Passage East who could hold an outdoor ceremony. The couple flew their own minister in from America to conduct the ceremony.
This was the first time I had seen an outdoor ceremony which is very popular in America but not legal in the UK at present. This was also my first visit to Ireland and my first taste of Irish hospitality.

Wedding in Ireland
I'm currently staying at the Parkswood Country House http://www.parkswood.com/ for Heather & Michael's wedding. The Parkswood is run by Roger and Terry Pooley who made me feel very welcome. Although only small the Parkswood has a fantastic reputation which seems to stretch as far away as Australia as some guests at Breakfast had just arrived from Sydney and apparently heard about the Parkswood on their local radio station.
